Ernest grew up in Crete. The island’s villages, mountain paths and everyday stories are part of his own life, and sharing them with visitors is at the heart of his work.
His approach is relaxed: listen to the people travelling with him, answer their questions and leave room for the day to unfold. Local food, conversations and time to appreciate a place matter as much as the destination.
Care for the landscape and support for local families shape Way to Crete’s approach. Elafonisi Tours brings that same personal outlook to private beach days from Chania and Rethymno.

We describe the time a journey actually needs. From Rethymno, even an Express Elafonisi day takes approximately eight hours. Tour prices are stated for the private group, and the final quote is confirmed before booking.
